Shane Warden

Director Broadcast Media & Technology, SailGP

With over 30 years of experience in technical innovation and operational management across all aspects of Sports Media, Shane’s expertise combines Rights knowledge with all types of Data, Production, and Broadcast technology. 

In his current role at SailGP, he is focused on keeping the organisation at the leading edge of media technology, specifically by pushing the boundaries of production, distribution, and content management to enhance quality, service, and value for global Broadcast and Media Partners. 

Before joining SailGP, Shane held key leadership positions, including CTO at ATP Media, Sports Industry Specialist at AWS, and General Manager of IMG Studios, Stockley Park. In his past, he earned a vast array of creative Broadcast and Feature Film credits as an Editor and a VFX Artist, demonstrating creative flair as well as significant technical & commercial competence. 

Shane is an Advisory Board Member of SVG and has served on judging panels for BAFTA and RTS.
